INFORMATION SYSTEMS SECURITY MANAGER - (Ref: 8011-009-004)

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Provides technical support in analyzing and solving complex information system security problems. Reviews and recommends security solutions based on an understanding of clients' environment/requirements, products and systems available in the market place, and government/industry policy, practices, procedures. Special focus on Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and the integration of PKI with Smartcards. Individual must be able to conduct security analysis, trouble shoot/maintain infrastructure security components, administer digital certificates and serve as registration authority, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and make servers and desk top computers PKI compliant.

DUTIES: PKI and digital certificate technology/administration, Smartcards, VPN, Cisco Firewalls, Intrusion Detection Systems, Cisco routers and switches, Windows NT and 2000,network engineering/management. Must have implemented at least one PKI system. Must understand X.509 and the relationship between PKI certificates and X.509. Must have excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills.

QUALIFICATIONS: Experience should include PKI, Digital Certificates, Smartcards, Cisco Firewalls, VPN, Cisco routers, switches, and network management tools. General experience includes security, infrastructure, and network engineering; integration and testing; and configuration management. Must be able to perform multiple tasks, work independently, and meet schedule milestones. Excellent oral and written communications skills are an absolute must.

EDUCATION: B.S. in Computer Science/Information Management or significant applicable experience.

    SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR - SENIOR (Ref: ON-8012-003)

    GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Requires an individual capable of working independently with a minimum of supervision. Ideal candidate shall have a minimum of five (5) years experience in System Administration along with extensive knowledge and hands on experience with migrating from NOVELL to NT, GroupWise to MS Exchange. Knowledge of state-of-the-art technology and emerging trends.

    DUTIES: Provides direct support for Client/Server systems. Performs duties which include: user account management, hardware and software installation and relocation, problem resolution, system performance monitoring and tuning, active directory services (ADS)configuration and implementation, and end-user assistance. The person selected for this position will be required to assist in leading and training other System Administration personnel and must possess strong Customer interfacing Skills. Serve as the lead specialist on major projects and coordinate team output; Provide direction and high level technical assistance to other administrators; Administer, configure, and maintain servers; Plan and participate in software and hardware migrations and lead migration teams.

    QUALIFICATIONS: Must be experienced in Computer Science with Client/Server background. Integration capabilities for local area networks is highly desirable. Solid workstation administration skills are a plus. Must be able to participate in consultation for hardware and software selections. Hands-on experience with distributed Client/Server Systems is mandatory. Three years analyzing, designing, installing, and working with all aspects of the Internet, Wide Area Networks, administering Systems, and supporting TCP/IP protocol. Data migration from NetWare to Windows 2000. Experience with Windows 2000 RIS and Group Policies assisted software installation would be an asset. Thorough understanding of the Windows 2000 operating system and Active Directory - Thorough understanding of Exchange 2000 and Exchange 5.5. Experience with Netscape 4.x; Novell Netware 4.x.; Working knowledge of Internet services including HTTP, FTP, POP3, SMTP; Electronic data interchange standards and systems.

    EDUCATION: Technical degree or applicable experience.

    GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The applicant participates in a large data migration task for a system design and development effort going from ADABAS/Natural to Oracle on a mainframe. Implements plans for data conversion, data migration, and data management activities involving large amount of legacy data and large system design and development effort requiring migration from Adabas/Natural to Oracle in a mainframe environment. Performs detailed analysis of the legacy data, including data integrity analysis and data transformation analysis. Performs development of data transformation modules and synchronization methods and procedures. This position reports to the Lead Data Engineer.
    SECURITY CLEARANCE: ACTIVE, TOP SECRET CLEARANCE or a Top Secret Clearance which was terminated within last twelve (12) months is mandatory.

    Qualifications and experience: 7 - 10 years experience in large scale data migration projects, involving ADABAS/Natural and/or Oracle in a mainframe environment. Must have knowledge of all components related to migration effort, including complex analysis and understanding of legacy data, experience in Oracle 8i or 9i, database logical and physical modeling, SQL*Loader, SQL*Plus scripts, PL/SQL, database triggers, stored procedures, and ETL is highly desired. Experience with legacy database (e.g., ADABAS, VSAM) is also desired. Must have effective communication and writing skills and the ability to work independently without supervision. Good organizational skills and multitasking abilities are necessary.

    Education: BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field. Additional relevant experience may substitute for education.

    PROGRAM MANAGER - SYSTEMS ENGINEERING (REF. ON-8014-001)

    GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Candidate will provide overall program management leadership and has full responsibility for managing the Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance Program. Responsible for customer interface, technical, cost, and schedule performance. A broad background in systems engineering and systems integration practices and principles will be required. Proactive, self-directed, customer-focused team player with outstanding interpersonal skills who takes ownership of and pride in his/her work.

    DUTIES: This position reports to the Division Director. The PM is responsible for establishing and managing the project organization and environment in compliance with client policies and procedures. Focused on System Integration and Engineering, including H/W and S/W engineering studies, trade analysis, requirements analysis to ensure compliance with client Life Cycle Methodology (LCM), Technical Reference Model (TRM), and client organization standards and architectures; Configuration Management, generation and review of customer documentation, and alternative recommendations; Reviewing Task Order Statements of Work, systems requirements documents, and other program-related documentation; Security, including evaluation and identification of security risks, preparing and implementing risk mitigation policies and plans. Other activities will include: developing a Program Management Plan (PMP). Establish key cost, schedule and performance parameters. Document key parameters, develop a transition, and test and evaluation strategy. Candidate will also interact on a regular basis with the Contracts and Subcontracts Managers to coordinate contractual matters. The PM is responsible for ensuring that the subcontractors are managed according to the provisions of this PM Plan and the contract. Should have good verbal communication skills and be supportive of a team environment. Must be flexible to move with assignment requirements. Characteristics necessary for success include: analytical, presentation, problem-solving skills; the ability to gain internal support; to operate independently without supervision or feedback; and the ability to establish a solid working relationship with customers, technical staff, managers and peers. Reasoning and problem solving skills, along with good verbal and written communications skills are needed. Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point; MS Project; knowledge of systems acquisition/development and CM processes and procedures, Life Cycle Methodologies, Testing methods, and Quality Assurance; effective oral and written communication skills, lead or active participation in team working environment. Experience managing subcontractors. Good organizational skills and multitasking ability is necessary. Focus must be on providing exceptional service to the customer.
